The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department recently invited local media to its training academy to learn how difficut it can be to take a resisting suspect into custody.
CMPD asked FOX 46 Charlotte's David Sentendrey to volunteer for a series of demonstrations (that can be viewed in the video) where he tried to take down police recruits who were posing as criminals -- but without punching, kicking or hitting them in any way.
