Louisville Metro Police Chief Steve Conrad has asked residents to come forward with what they know about Thursday's West End shootings that left three dead and three injured.
Louisville Metro Police Chief Steve Conrad has asked residents to come forward with what they know about Thursday's West End shootings that left three dead and three injured.
At a press conference Thursday, Conrad said it was too early to talk about charges in the shootings. Three people are in University Hospital with gunshot wounds, including a woman shot by police after she shot another woman on the scene, reports the Courier-Journal.
"We ask that anyone who may have seen anything out there to please contact us," Chief Conrad said. "We need the community's help to solve that puzzle."
The shootings unfolded Thursday afternoon, after 1 p.m. Officers responded to a dispute between two women that led to one shooting the other. As investigators began working the scene, a second shooting occurred a block away.
