Video: Los Angeles, Philly Police Unions Join Boycott of Tarantino Films
The Los Angeles police union and the Philadelphia police union have joined the NYPD union in a boycott of the films of Quentin Tarantino in response to the director referring to "murder" in connection with police use of force at a New York rally over the weekend.

The Los Angeles police union and the Philadelphia police union have joined the NYPD union in a boycott of the films of Quentin Tarantino in response to the director referring to "murder" in connection with police use of force at a New York rally over the weekend.
“If you believe there's murder going on then you need to rise up and stand up against it. I'm here to say I'm on the side of the murdered,” Tarantino said.
“There is no place for inflammatory rhetoric that makes police officers even bigger targets than we already are,” Los Angeles Police Protective League President Craig Lally said in a statement.
“Tarantino has shown through his actions that he is anti-police,” John McNesby, president of Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, said in a statement. “Mr. Tarantino has made a good living through his films, projecting into society at large violence and respect for criminals; he it turns out also hates cops.”
New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, former chief of the LAPD, on Monday said in a radio interview that there were “no words to describe the contempt I have” for Tarantino, KTLA TV reports.
