A convenience store clerk who had been kidnapped and stuffed into the trunk of his car was rescued by Louisville (Ky.) Police officers during a traffic stop.
Joseph Davis, Brittany Elder, and Trent Blye were taken into custody on Aug. 4, after officers heard Sean Bloemer pounding on the inside of the trunk lid. Officers pulled over the car for an expired tag, reports WAVE.
The three have been charged with wanton endangerment, complicity to kidnapping, and robbery, reports WDRB.
