Video: Hackers Threaten To Shut Down PD's Website
The hacker group Anonymous threatened to shut down the Manteca (Calif.) Police Department's website if the agency doesn't remove an officer who used deadly force.

The hacker group Anonymous threatened to shut down the Manteca (Calif.) Police Department's website if the agency doesn't remove an officer who used deadly force, reports the Manteca Bulletin .
The threat came via an eeire YouTube clip with a computer-generated voice running 2 minutes, 46 seconds. The video, which was posted Dec. 18, demands the removal of Officer Josh Moody.
The officer fatally shot parolee Ernesto Duenez Jr. on June 8, 2011. In early December, attorneys for the Duenez family released graphic footage of the shooting in which Officer Moody shot Duenez 11 times.
The shooting was ruled legally justified by the San Joaquin County District Attorney's investigators based on their review of evidence including a dash cam in the officer's vehicle that captured the shooting. A $25 million lawsuit is pending in federal court, reports the Bulletin.
