A man who was shot after opening fire on Marion County deputies during a brief standoff outside an Ocala, FL, gas station Wednesday evening has died, authorities said.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Cristiaan Dubrino, 31, died at the hospital.
Marion County Sheriff's spokesman Ryan Robbins told WFTV Sgt. Daniel Trammell was also shot in the leg during the shooting at the Marathon Kangaroo gas station on Northeast 20th Street.
Deputies arrived at the gas station after receiving a 911 call about an armed man inside a vehicle.
Robbins said Dubrino told deputies he had three firearms and was going to kill himself and officers.
