A Michigan bride was supposed to be celebrating a wedding and a honeymoon over the past few weeks, but when her Wayne State University police officer fiance was killed in the line of duty last year, those dreams were quickly left behind.
Nikki Salgot didn’t want to forget the love she had with Sgt. Collin Rose.
So She donned her gown, and met with a wedding photographer to document “the pain left behind,” The Detroit News reported.
“I wanted to take the photos because I still loved Collin. Our plans were taken, but my love was not,” Saigot told The Detroit News.
