Video: Dozens of Officers Honored in Rhode Island Ceremony
Rhode Island State Police recognized 35 troopers, 8 federal agents, 11 municipal police officers and one civilian for life saving efforts, stopping crimes, and critical responses during a Friday afternoon ceremony in Providence.
On Friday dozens of members of local law enforcement were recognized for going above and beyond to stop crimes from happening and for saving lives.
In front of their family and friends dedicated members of the Rhode Island State Police, federal agents and municipal officers were presented with awards. They were recognized for their work in everything from traffic stops to home invasions and drug busts.
