North Charleston (S.C.) Police officers uncovered more than 100 oxycodone pills and $1,000 in cash after a pickup connected to a counterfeiting investigation led them on a brief high-speed pursuit.
North Charleston (S.C.) Police officers uncovered more than 100 oxycodone pills and $1,000 in cash after a pickup connected to a counterfeiting investigation led them on a brief high-speed pursuit.
The fleeing truck crashed into a civilian vehicle Saturday during the 1.5-mile chase that reached 100 mph on Ashley Phosphate Road. The ordeal ended when the pickup crashed into a concrete post and was rear-ended by a police cruiser.
Four men in the truck, all of whom have arrest histories, suffered minor injuries. They later were jailed and soon released on personal recognizance.
