Video: 2 Indy Officers Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide
Two Indianapolis police officers were found dead Thursday evening in an apparent murder-suicide on the city's far-west side.
RTV6 Indianapolis is reporting two Indianapolis police officers were found dead Thursday evening in an apparent murder-suicide on the city's far-west side.
Chief Rick Hite said Sgt. Ryan Anders and Officer Kim Carmack were found dead in a home in the 2400 block of Inishmore Court, near 21st Street and Country Club Road.
Hite said it appeared that Anders had forced his way into Carmack's home. RTV6's Jack Rinehart reported that sources told him Anders cut the lines to the security system at Carmack's home before the incident.
