According to VTDigger, Windham County State's Attorney Tracy Shriver confirmed she'd asked for an investigation of the Bellows Falls Police Department last July. She declined to say what prompted her request.
Municipal Manager Wendy Harrison told members of the Bellows Falls Village board of trustees about the investigation during a meeting on Monday.
The specific focus of the investigation has not been revealed.
