Union Representative Says Georgia Officer Was Victim of Arson Attack

An officer with the Atlanta Police Department was the victim of an arson attack, according to Ken Allen, a retired detective and representative for the Atlanta Police Union.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution , the home of an officer—whose name has not been released—was firebombed before she was even able to move into her residence.

Allen says that someone broke a kitchen window and threw a Molotov cocktail into the home, causing significant damage to the kitchen area.

The fire department is conducting an arson investigation.
