Officers were able to arrest the suspect shortly after the shooting, KIII reports.
The Texas A&M University-Kingsville Police Department, Kleberg County Sheriffs Office, County Attorney Task Force, Texas Rangers and the Texas Department of Public Safety are assisting in the investigations.
