Michigan State Police is investigating the death of a man in the parking of its post in Lansing.

Tuesday, around 6:30 a.m., MSP Operations was contacted by phone, and the man said he was in the parking lot of the Lansing post and intended to harm himself.
A social media post by MSP said Troopers went to the parking lot and found the man deceased next to his vehicle. MSP said the investigation into the death is ongoing.
