The TigerLight Non-Lethal Defense System, which is a flashlight that also deploys OC spray, was shown to reduce "significant force" an additional 25 percent in a 500-deputy, six-month independent study at Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The military has allocated hundreds of thousands of dollars to conduct human effects testing on all sprays used in the TigerLight Non-Lethal Defense System in order to fulfill Geneva Convention requirements prior to deployment in Iraq and other locations.
The TigerLight is giving military personnel a non-lethal option at check points and other volatile locations where distinguishing between a "combatant" and a "friendly" can be very difficult.
