Texas Officer Recovering From Injuries Sustained in Vehicle Collision

An officer with the Fort Worth (TX) Police Department is now recovering from injuries sustained when a civilian vehicle collided with his patrol car on Wednesday night.

According to CBS News , the impact of the crash caused the cruiser to go through a fence and a retaining wall, before coming to a stop in the yard of a home.

The officer was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was treated and released.
