“Due to extensive damage, the structure will need to be made safe before searchers can enter,” the
Redlands Police Department
announced in a social media post this morning.
Olive Dell Ranch, which promotes itself online as a family-friendly nudist resort, is where Stephanie Menard, 73, and Daniel Menard, 79, were last seen on Aug. 24, reported

. They were later reported missing when they did not show up for church.
The missing couple lived at the resort and were neighbors to 62-year-old Michael Royce Sparks, who has now been arrested and is being held in connection with suspicion of murder.

Sparks was found underneath the home, and investigators are confident the missing couple’s bodies are on Sparks’ property.
A cadaver dog from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department was deployed Friday morning, and police reported it detected one body, but the search would need to be delayed until the area was safe to search due to the damage.
