Suspect Arrested in Shooting Death of DC Special Police Officer

Metropolitan Police (DC) announced an arrest was made in the Sept. 2021 fatal shooting of special police Officer Angela Washington, 41, of Suitland, MD. She was shot while working security at an apartment complex Sept. 21, 2021.

Evidence collected by police and surveillance video led them to the suspect, who was apprehended by members of the Regional Fugitive Task Force, ABC7 reports.

Jadohn Bracey, 22, was arrested early Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder.
