St. Louis Blues Star Visits Children of Officer Killed in Line of Duty

St. Louis Blues star left winger Pat Maroon visited the children of North County Cooperative police Officer Michael Langsdorf, who was killed June 23.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch , Maroon said, "I’ve never had anyone that close to me pass away, I can only imagine what it must be like for his kids, his fiancée and his parents."

"I hope we went there and lifted them up even just a tad because you never want to see anyone go through anything like that,” Maroon added.

In spending time with 18-year-old Kaleb and 13-year-old Olivia Langsdorf, Maroon was joined by Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Chris Wideman who is also a native of St. Louis.

Langsdorf was killed while responding to a call of a man attempting to pass a bad check at a local market.
