A gunman suspected of opening fire on two off-duty Los Angeles police officers in Norwalk, CA, was taken into custody early Sunday morning, officials said.
Two off-duty LAPD officers were making a u-turn at the intersection of Ferin Avenue and Crossdale after their shift when a man stepped out of a house and fired shots at the officers' car, according to the Los Angele County Sheriff's Department. The officers then flagged down LASD deputies around 12:30 a.m.
