Bates Footwear was inspired to launch its new Bates Moto brand when the company began manufacturing boots for motorcycle-mounted law enforcement officers. The Bates Moto line draws on the experiences and insights gathered during the production of these boots to build a superior product for the street that will deliver the performance and protection that riders need, while remaining comfortable enough for the rider to wear off the bike as well.
The Bates Moto line incorporates high-tech materials like Poron XRD impact-absorbing foam, as well as molded TPU protectors, XRD ankle protection, breathable waterproof membrane lining, abrasion-resistant leather and nylon fibers, and reinforced stitching. These features are seamlessly blended into the design to provide superior protection and durability while retaining the comfort and flexibility the Bates brand is known for.

The Beltline boot combines abrasion resistant leather with breathable nylon panels, making it the ideal leather boot for summer riding.
