Two other officers who were shot during a shootout on the N Train in Brooklyn were released from medical care on Thursday. A bullet struck Officer Michael Levay, 27, in the back of his ballistic vest. Officer Levay told colleagues, "It's nice to be going home," reports the

Officer Levay's plainclothes partner, Lukasz Kozicki, was hit three times in his legs. Kozicki, 32, appeared pained when he left the Lutheran Medical Center in Bay Ridge three hours after the shooting.
