Safariland has announced the release of its Hatch Model SOG-HKG Operator HKG Gauntlet glove. The glove's longer length protects the wrist and forearm in tactical applications and close-quarters combat. The palms and knuckles are constructed from durable goatskin, providing tear and abrasion resistance, and the hard knuckle design protects and buffers for a more tactical posture.

Hatch gloves feature a signature Ergo Cut design and patented Cut-Ring that contributes to better functionality and comfort. Cut-Ring on the index finger allows for the optional removal of the trigger finger without unraveling the remaining edge.

The back of the gloves are made from a Kevlar/Nomex blend, providing fire resistance. Also, the Kevlar/Nomex blend keeps the user's hands cool and dry. The gloves are secured by a wraparound hook and loop closure.

Ergo Cut allows the Hatch gloves to conform to the shape of the hand for better dexterity and comfort. This increases weapon control and decreases hand fatigue. The overlay of goatskin aniline leather placed in the weapon cradle of the glove provides extra grip and weapon control, which helps to prevent the seizing of the weapon from the user's hands.

The Operator SOG-HKG is offered in Black, Foliage and Coyote Tan colors. Suggested retail is $89.
