According to KCRA-TV , Clark's 2-year-old and 5-year-old sons will receive a net settlement of $893,112.94 each after the deduction of legal fees.
The wrongful death lawsuit filed earlier this year alleges that the deputies racially profiled Clark and used excessive force when they shot and killed him.
According to the proposed settlement, the court will appoint a trustee to oversee the funds.
