Marion County (Ind.) Sheriff's deputies once allowed to serve criminal or civil warrants in plainclothes must now wear their uniforms after the passage of the Right to Resist law.

The change in wardrobe gives deputies higher visibility and reduces the risk that a homeowner would mistake the officer's identity, Maj. Reggie Roney told the Indy Channel .
