The webinar titled “A Race Against Time: How DFR Technology Rescued a Missing Child” will feature Captain Andrew Denbo of the Pasco County (Florida) Sheriff’s Office.
Captain Denbo will share how his agency’s partnership with Florida’s Forensic Institute for Research Security and Tactics (F1RST) led to it becoming a global leader for training first responders to use drones on search and rescue missions.
He will also discuss a harrowing real-life incident where drones were used to locate a missing child and a suspect involved in the incident.
In addition to discussing search and rescue operations involving drones, Captain Denbo will talk about:
Real examples of how drones respond to de-escalate dangerous situations
Best practices for deploying drones in your own agency
Suggestions for how to scale your drone program and achieve DFR
