Point Blank Enterprises, a leading producer of body armor and related protective solutions, will be demonstrating its newest innovations in tactical and concealable ballistic packages, advanced carrier designs, apparel, outerwear, holsters and duty gear, along with state-of-the art surveillance systems at the 2018 Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) show January 23-26 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

Point Blank says it will build on its brands in 2018, giving the company an even greater footprint in the military, law enforcement, corrections, federal, and international marketplaces. The company says its latest line-up of solutions reflects this–with new multi-functional and multi-compliant body armor packages that address the ever-changing needs of officers.

“Over the past few years, we have enhanced our offering, focusing on new material technologies that significantly improve the wearability of our body armor systems,” said Michael Foreman, Point Blank's EVP of international business development, federal sales and marketing. “The advancements we’ve made in carrier designs in particular, have been tremendous and we’ve recently enhanced some of our new crossover carriers and tactical systems based on real-time feedback from our customers in the field.”

Point Blank will also feature its Iris Covert surveillance platform, which the company says was designed from the ground up to be the most advanced, integrated, and intuitive surveillance platform on the market. According to the company, the system provides unrivaled run time using the latest in lithium Ion battery technology, unique and fully integrated Point Blank operations software, highest audio and video resolution, full 360-degree high-definition video, and viewing from within the vehicle or remotely from anywhere in the world. The Iris Covert system can be provided to customers as a turnkey vehicle, an upgrade package for existing vehicles or installed into customer provided vehicles.

These solutions, among others, will be on display at the Company’s booth (#11366)in the main exhibit hall.  On display will be some of the latest concealable and tactical products offered under the Company’s various brands, including:

ARMIS 2.0: This highly scalable, advanced carrier system allows tactical units the flexibility to configure the body armor system to meet mission specific needs. This includes the option of a quick one-motion release system, exclusive WARSOC H3 buckle system for quick donning and doffing, ultra-lightweight laser-cut fabric option and ergonomic design for greater agility and substantially improved range of motion for the operator.

APC Gen IV: The new APC Gen IV Plate Carrier is designed to allow the operator to gain immediate protection against high-powered threats. Blending the functionality of a tactical system with the simplicity of a plate carrier, the APC Gen IV features multiple points of adjustment, optional side pockets for hard armor plates, and maximum load bearing capabilities.

ODC Series:  Point Blank’s latest crossover carrier series includes the ODC Guardian, ODC Maverick, ODC Uniform, ODC MOLLE, ODC Laser, ODC Slick and ODC Standard.  Highly versatile in design, the new Crossover carriers provide the ultimate combination of functionality, adaptability and protection.  These carriers are able to easily integrate Point Blank concealable carriers directly into the carrier sleeve without removal of ballistics. Engineered to meet specific needs for equipment carrying requirements or duty assignment.

ArmorVent Technology: Armorvent with EVAP Technology is available in Point Blank, PACA and Paraclete concealable, crossover and tactical vests. Armorvent utilizes a patent-pending air channel ventilation pattern that helps to evaporate sweat. It also conducts heat away from the skin, prevents growth of bacteria and delivers continuous comfort, regardless of environmental temperature or duration of operation. Armorvent panels are available in multiple sizes and can be integrated into a carrier or purchased as a retrofit kit.

Special Ops Bunker (SOB): SOB Defense Systems fill the gap between body armor and armored vehicles. Situations often arise where operators need the confidence and security of head-to-toe ballistic coverage; body armor can’t provide that. Armored vehicles provide excellent coverage, but they cannot be taken through doorways, down hallways, or into elevators. SOB Defense Systems provide the highest level of protection possible while allowing for mobility, agility, and overall versatility in a variety of circumstances.

“The SHOT Show provides us with an excellent opportunity to differentiate our product lines, speak with both current and potential customers, and gain valuable insight on officers’ needs.  We remain committed to delivering the most advanced body armor and protective outerwear products this industry has ever seen,” stated Daniel Gaston, CEO.
