Prosecutors filed notice of their intention to seek the death penalty for the man accused of killing off-duty Officer Calvin Hall during an argument in the early morning hours of July 14. Hall died July 17—three days after he was shot.
According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette , the man—identified as 30-year-old Christian Bey—is charged with homicide, possessing a firearm without a license, illegal possession of a firearm, and carrying a gun with an altered manufacturer’s number.
