A dog that was once in peril of being put down at a Georgia animal shelter is now a K-9 with the Headland (AL) Police Department.
According to AL.com , K-9 Harlow was obtained by the department through a program known as Animal Farm Foundation, a nonprofit that rescues dogs in shelters, pays for K-9 training conducted by Sector K-9 in Texas, and then matches the dogs with agencies in need of a K-9.
