The Kellyville Police Department—located in Creek County, Oklahoma—posted a picture of its newest "hire" on Facebook , and it quickly went viral.
"The Kellyville Police Department would like to formally introduce our newest Officer," the agency said.
"K-9 Lead was voted in tonight by the Town Trustees. Lead will be a drug detection and search and rescue K-9. We are expecting to send Lead to full training in September and have her on the streets working by early 2020!"
