The Rogers County (OK) Sheriff's Office has hired the former Tulsa police officer acquitted in the deadly shooting of Terence Crutcher, reports KOCO .
Betty Shelby, who retired from the Tulsa (OK) Police Department after she was assigned to work a desk job, has been hired as a volunteer reserve deputy. Shelby could be hired full time "if it works out," Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton said.
