Ohio Officer Unharmed Despite Coming Under Gunfire

An officer with the North College Hill (OH) Police Department was reportedly unharmed when she came under fire from a suspect inside an abandoned home early Monday.

According to Fox News , Officer Lauren Shepherd was investigating the vacant building when she heard a gunshot inside. She came upon the suspect, who then reportedly fired in her direction.

Shepherd took cover and upon taking a look from cover she saw the suspect fleeing on foot, police say.

A handgun was recovered at the scene and the alleged gunman remains at large.
