The Ohio teenager accused of gunning down three classmates in the Chardon High School cafeteria will be tried as an adult, a judge ruled on Thursday.
If convicted, T.J. Lane would be eligible for life imprisonment. Land had previously been arraigned as a juvenile, so Geauga County Probate/Juvenile Judge Tim Grendell's ruling begins a new round of legal proceedings. Lane is being held in the county Juvenile Detention Center without bond, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette .
