An officer with the Chattanooga (TN) Police Department was wounded in an armed confrontation outside a Waffle House restaurant early Sunday.
According to WTVC-TV , the officer—whose name has not yet been released—was transported to a nearby hospital where he is reportedly listed in stable condition.
