An off-duty San Antonio police officer is expected to survive after he was shot six times in a possible road rage incident late Tuesday night. He underwent surgery Wednesday morning.
The San Antonio Police Department says the incident began around 9:30 p.m. along Interstate 10 on the city's northwest side. SAPD Chief William McManus says it started as an altercation on the highway when a 25-year-old man thought an off-duty officer cut him off.
