The Chicopee (MA) Police Department is mourning the loss of an officer who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Connecticut Tuesday afternoon.
Officer Angela Santiago was killed in an accident on Tuesday as she and her sister were riding motorcycles on a freeway.

The agency said on its Facebook page, "Thank you everyone for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. We are extremely touched and honored to everyone who has stopped by and left something" on her patrol vehicle "to honor her memory."
The social media post concluded, "Please continue to keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. We will update with all wake/funeral information when finalized."
She has been with the department since 2014.
