An off-duty DeKalb County (Ga.) Police officer working a security detail shot and killed a man who opened fire in a crowded bar Saturday night.

The gunman, whose identity has not been released, opened fire at the Trebol Billiards Bar on Buford Highway around 11:30 p.m. after an argument involving a woman, reports WSB-TV .

The off-duty officer called for backup. A second officer arrived just as one of the patrons involved in the argument started to fire a gun. Four patrons were injured, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution .
