Oakley Standard Issue Launches Campaign to Show Customers How Ballistic Eyewear is Made

Oakley says #OakleySIOrigin sets out to question what inspires and ignites the creation of its customers' go-to protective gear and where does it come from? Customers can follow along the ballistic eyewear's journey from idea to development to testing to manufacturing, ending with a 100% USA made piece of ballistic protective eyewear that meets their demands.

For more than 25 years, Oakley Standard Issue (Oakley SI) has been supplying American first responders and troops with protective eyewear. The company says its obsession with research and development continues to produce combat-ready equipment for those whose lives depend on their gear–and it is honored to have earned the respect of such men and women.

Launching early March and running through 2019, the #OakleySIOrigin campaign gives consumers a look behind the bunker doors of Oakley's more than 500,000 square-foot corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Foothill Ranch, CA.
