The fleeing suspect was arrested and charged with robbery, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.
The NYPD released body camera footage Tuesday of a special operations horse-mounted police officer chasing a theft suspect through Times Square.
Police allege the 34-year-old man stole seven pairs of sunglasses from a vendor on Saturday night, reports PIX11 . Police also say he swung a piece of broken glass toward the 60-year-old vendor in “a threatening manner.”
