NY State Troopers and employees of a towing company helped rescue more than 100 puppies after the box van that was carrying them crashed and overturned on an upstate New York highway, reports the Associated Press .
Troopers say a Missouri woman was driving the van carrying the puppies to be delivered to pet stores when she lost control of the vehicle Tuesday, causing it to hit a ditch and overturn. Five of the puppies sustained minor injuries, and two sustained serious injuries. There were no fatalities.
