The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office Tuesday said it will not file any criminal charges against LAPD officers involved in a standoff that resulted in the shooting deaths of a baby and her father 16 months ago.
Police said 19-month-old Suzie Pena was killed when her father, Jose Pena, used her as a shield in a gunfight. He was also killed and one officer was wounded.
