A 19-year-old man was arrested Saturday after crashing into two New Hampshire State Police vehicles and leading troopers and local police on a chase, authorities said.

The New Hampshire Department of Safety said around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, a state trooper was trying to stop a driver in a Ford Focus, who was surpassing speeds over 100 mph on Interstate 93 without their lights on, WMUR reports.

Just a few minutes after the chase began, authorities said the driver, identified as a 19-year-old man from Waterville Valley, made a U-turn in a neighborhood in Holderness before crashing into the state police vehicle while the trooper and K-9 were inside.

Officials said the suspect continued to lead several other troopers on a chase that lasted approximately 45 minutes.

Troopers eventually surrounded the suspect in a driveway. Again, he tried to elude troopers, smashing into a second state police vehicle several times before his car became stuck. No troopers were injured, according to authorities.

The man was arrested and charged with disobeying an officer, reckless driving, driving after revocation or suspension, and several felony counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.
