A Randolph County, NC, sheriff's deputy shot and killed a man allegedly driving a stolen tractor and ramming the deputy's patrol vehicle Tuesday.
The Randolph County Sheriff's Officer reports on Facebook : "The deputy saw a tractor driving erratically in the middle of the road without its headlights on. The deputy tried to pull over the driver but the tractor kept going, driving through a yard and causing damage, before turning around toward the deputy.

Photos of the deputy's patrol car published in local media show damage to the vehicle.
