SEARCHA Davidson County (N.C.) Sheriff's deputy attempting to save a man drowning in a lake was punched by the man's brother. While patrolling the High Rock Lake area of Lexington, deputy Tim Smith was notified by a family member that a 21-year-old man had gone underwater.
A Davidson County (N.C.) Sheriff's deputy attempting to save a man drowning in a lake was punched by the man's brother.
While patrolling the High Rock Lake area of Lexington, N.C., deputy Tim Smith was notified by a family member that a 21-year-old man had gone underwater. Deputy Smith went into the water to try to pull the man out.
After the man's body was recovered, the man's brother was overcome with emotion and punched the deputy above the left eye. He was arrested.
