Mother, Daughter Murdered—Officer Wounded in Florida Attack

A mother and daughter were murdered in an attack that also left a Florida police officer wounded and another person hospitalized in critical condition.
According to the Sun Sentinel, Hannah Bonta and her mother, Jan Kirkland were murdered in the incident and Bonta's boyfriend—Craig Newman—was critically wounded.
Officer Andrew Renna was shot in the chest with a shotgun and wounded as he responded to the incident. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he is now listed in stable condition.
The assailant—identified as 44-year-old Jason Dale Roseman—was later arrested and charged with two counts of premeditated murder and two counts of attempted premeditated murder, including one on a law enforcement officer.
