Missouri Officer Working Off-Duty Shot in Ferguson Walmart

An officer with the Calverton (MO) Police Department working a secondary job at a Walmart store on West Florissant Street in Ferguson suffered an apparent gunshot wound on Saturday night.

According to KMOV-TV , the officer was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The alleged shooter has not been identified or located by officers investigating the incident.

The officer was hit in the arm and torso and is in stable condition. Officials say the torso shots were stopped by body armor.
