Michigan Trooper Hit, Dragged in Fatal Highway Accident

Michigan State Police motorcycle trooper Chad Wolf was killed Friday when he was hit and dragged by a car in a highway accident.
The accident happened on I-75 near Dixie Highway. A vehicle towing a trailer apparently made a lane change and struck Wolf on his motorcycle. The driver, a 72-year-old man from Waterford, then dragged the officer several miles before pulling over at Davisburg Rest Stop in Springfield Township.
Sources tell 7 Action News his partner found Wolf unresponsive near the rest stop.
Police say the driver is cooperating with authorities.
