Two local residents had called 911 to report fraught interactions with the woman, who allegedly told them she was being chased by "someone with guns" at about 8:30 a.m.
When police arrived, the woman had gone – but staff at the nearby Waldon Middle School also called in an encounter with "a frantic woman,"

Deputies interviewed the woman and found out she had a baby. Burrs on the woman's pants made them start searching the woods.
Thirteen squad cars responded, including a K-9 unit, and after a 30-minute search, they found the boy, "cold and wet but breathing." It's not known how long he was in the woods.
Investigators suspected prescription drug abuse in the incident and were seeking a warrant for the mother’s arrest
