Memorial Service for Texas Trooper Set

The memorial service for Trooper Jonathan McDonald will be held Friday in Lubbock, the Texas Department of Public Safety has announced.

McDonald, 28, was killed in a single-vehicle traffic accident Monday evening south of Post, as he responded to an accident scene on U.S. 84.

Trooper McDonald joined the DPS in January 2008 and was stationed in Post. He is survived by his wife and a six-month-old daughter.
