According to the Boston Herald , Trooper Ryan Sceviour received $35,000 from the state and $5,000 from the Worcester District Attorney’s Office.
Massachusetts State Police Colonel Kerry Gilpin—who heads the agency—said that Sceviour acted appropriately at all times during the arrest and investigation at issue.
Gilpin added, "I look forward to your continued commitment to the Department of State Police and the valuable public safety mission you perform on a daily basis."
